Friedensreich Hundertwasser

My aunt came for a visit this weekend and she is an art teacher up in Maine. She told me about this artist, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, while she was here. If you haven't heard of him yet, I've posted the link to his Wikipedia page so you can learn more about him. FASCINATING artist. Growing up in Germany at the time of Hitler, Friedrich wanted to "break the conformity" of the times and the art of the time and came up with idea of NOT using straight lines. Also, that the human has multiple "skins" and this includes our human skin, but also our environment and the atmosphere we live in. This places a lot into the way he designs his architecture.
Again, if you haven't heard of him, look more into him. Great artist to build lessons off of.
